LensTrails is designed as a personal photo-location scouting app. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Information You Add
The app can store locations, coordinates, names, notes, tags, ratings, visit reminders, and photos that you choose to add. This information is used to show your saved places and planning details inside the app.
Location and Photo Access
LensTrails may ask for access to your location, camera, and photo library so you can save places, take photos, import geolocated images, and calculate distance, weather, sun, and shoot timing information for a location.
Local Storage
Your saved scouting data is stored on your device unless you choose to share it or your device settings back it up through Apple services. LensTrails does not require an account to use the core app features.
External Services
Some features may request data from external services, including weather, climate, map, geocoding, navigation, and operating-system services. Requests may include coordinates or other technical information needed to return the requested result. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Support Messages
If you contact support, your name, email address, and message are used to reply to your request. Support messages are sent to feedback@jerome.photo.
Newsletter
When you choose to join the LensTrails newsletter, your email address is sent to EmailOctopus only after you affirmatively subscribe. EmailOctopus processes it for newsletter delivery so LensTrails can send the product updates, photography tips, and field notes you requested. Your email address is processed on the basis of your consent.
You can withdraw that consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email. The embedded subscription form is delivered by EmailOctopus, which may process technical request information such as device, browser, and network data when the form is loaded and submitted.

Website Analytics
The LensTrails website keeps Google Analytics 4 disabled until you consent to optional analytics. If you opt in, analytics may process pages visited, session and interaction data, approximate location, and browser or device information. LensTrails does not enable advertising personalization, Google Signals, or advertising data storage for this website analytics setup.

Children
LensTrails is not intended for children under 13. Do not use the app if you are not old enough to consent to this policy in your country or region.
